Scheme of Assessment of Examinations
Assessment for Pre School - Pre-Primary Classes:
Evaluation scheme is continuous and comprehensive. Academic session is divided into three terms. Assessments spread over the academic session forms the promotion criteria for Pre- Primary Classes.
Assessment for Classes I - V (Primary Classes):
In conformity with the new evaluation scheme suggested by the CBSE, the assessment of the students is continuous and comprehensive. This evaluation scheme takes care of the assessment of the all round development of the child’s personality. It includes assessment in scholastic as well as co-scholastic areas of the pupil’s growth. Scholastic aspects include curricular areas or subject activities.
Assessment for Classes VI-X:
The school follows the (CBSE) CCE scheme and assesses the Scholastic and Co-Scholastic areas of pupil’s growth. Scholastic aspects will include subject specific areas whereas co-scholastic aspects will include life skills, co-curricular activities, attitudes and values.

An academic year is divided into two terms. The first term is from April to September and second term from October to March. Each term includes two formative and one summative assessment.

Evaluation in all the above classes is indicated in grades.
Every student must secure at least a D grade to earn promotion to the next class.
Assessment for Classes XI-XII:
The year is divided into two terms for Class XI and XII. Unit tests are conducted in each Term followed by Term Exams. For Class XII students, pre-board examination is administered on the CBSE Board pattern.
