On October 19, 2024, an educational trip to the Eternal Gandhi Multimedia Museum for the NIE subscribers of classes III to V was organised. The visit aimed to enhance students' understanding of India's freedom struggle and Gandhian values through interactive exhibits. Students gained historical knowledge and moral insights by exploring Gandhi's life and teachings on peace, truth, and non-violence.

The trip was designed to provide students with an in-depth understanding of India’s freedom struggle while instilling the timeless values that Mahatma Gandhi stood for, such as non-violence, truth, and simplicity. The museum, with its interactive exhibits and multimedia displays, offered students a captivating way to engage with history.
The visit included a tour of several key sections within the museum, such as the ‘Gandhi in Action’ exhibit, which highlighted Gandhi's peaceful protests and his role in India's independence movement, and ‘The Path of Non-Violence,’ an immersive section that emphasized the importance of truth (Satya) and non-violence (Ahimsa). Students also explored ‘Gandhi’s World’, a multimedia area that showcased key events in Gandhi’s life through photographs, videos, and soundscapes, bringing history to life.
By exploring his life journey, from early struggles in South Africa to his leadership in India's independence movement, students gained a deeper appreciation of how his values remain relevant today. The museum's use of modern technology made the learning experience both engaging and impactful. The educational trip was a meaningful blend of historical knowledge and character-building lessons, making it a memorable experience for all the students.
