Dussehra signifies the triumph of good over evil and reminds us that no matter how powerful negativity may seem, goodness always prevails. To instill festive spirit among our young learners, a fun-filled and meaningful Ravana Craft Making Activity was organised for the students of Pre-School and Pre-Primary. The children created colourful Ravana effigies using paper cutouts and joyfully popped his ten faces, each representing a negative emotion. This activity was centred on the theme 'Letting Go of Negative Traits' such as anger, jealousy, greed and falsehood. Through this engaging experience, the students learned that the true victory of good over evil begins within - by overcoming our own shortcomings and embracing positive values in everyday life.

The students of Class I celebrated Dussehra with great enthusiasm through a creative activity and a special assembly on 14.10.26. The aim was to familiarise young learners with the significance of Dussehra and reinforce the values of truth, courage and righteousness. As part of the activity, students assembled bow-and-arrow cutouts, symbolising Lord Rama’s victory over the evil Ravana. The celebration continued with a special assembly in which students highlighted the significance of the festival through their presentation. A vibrant dance performance depicting Lord Rama and his devoted follower, Lord Hanuman, added devotion and splendour to the occasion.

In a nutshell, the celebration instilled moral values and conveyed the timeless message that good always triumphs over evil.

Creativity is intelligence having fun!

An  Animal Mask Making Competition was organised for the students of Class I on  08.10.26 to providing them with an opportunity to explore their creativity while developing an appreciation for the fascinating world of animals. The objective of the activity was to encourage imagination, artistic expression, and fine-motor skills while also creating awareness about different animals and their unique features.

The young participants enthusiastically designed and decorated colourful animal masks using craft materials. Each mask reflected the child’s imagination and individual artistic style. The activity created an atmosphere of excitement and joy as students proudly wore their handmade masks and participated in the competition.

In a nutshell, the activity was a delightful blend of creativity, learning and fun leaving the young learners with memorable experiences and a greater appreciation for the animal kingdom.

The Annual Talent Hunt Show “The Spectrum 2026” was organised at Vishal Bharti Public School on 7th October 2026 for the students of Classes III and IV. Based on the vibrant theme “The Rich Culture of India,” the event provided a wonderful platform for young learners to showcase their creativity, confidence and diverse talents.

The performances beautifully reflected India’s rich heritage, regional diversity, traditions and its journey towards a modern and progressive future. The young participants presented their talents through dance, singing and AD-MAD acts, bringing alive the colours and spirit of Indian culture.
The colourful costumes, creative props, expressive performances and confident stage presence added charm and vibrancy to the event. The students displayed remarkable creativity and confidence while celebrating the cultural richness of our country.

The event not only provided an opportunity for students to showcase their individual talents but also helped them develop self-confidence, creativity, expression, stage presence and an appreciation for India’s diverse cultural heritage. The students were appreciated for their commendable efforts and sincere efforts.

Students of Vishal Bharti Public School, Classes III–V, enthusiastically participated in an Inter-House Festival-Themed Craft Competition held on Wednesday, 7th October 2026. 

Class III decorated beautiful diyas, while Classes IV & V created colourful round and square danglers using glitter, sequins, beads, ribbons, mirrors, decorative stones, quilling strips, and colours.

The competition provided students with a wonderful opportunity to showcase their creativity, imagination, and artistic skills while embracing the festive spirit.

An Inter-House Rangoli Making Activity was organised for the students of Classes XI and XII on 7 October 2026. The activity aimed to provide students with a platform to demonstrate their creativity, imagination and artistic abilities through teamwork and collaboration.

Students participated in groups of four and created aesthetically appealing rangolis using mirrors, beads, sequins, laces, flowers and other decorative material. The rangolis were evaluated by the judges on the basis of creativity and originality, neatness and finishing, effective use of materials and overall visual presentation.

The activity witnessed enthusiastic participation and reflected the artistic talent, creative potential and team spirit of the students. 

To foster artistic skills, creativity and a deep appreciation for traditional Indian art forms, an Inter-House Matka Decoration Competition under the Kaushal Bodh initiative was organised on October 7, 2026, for classes VI-VIII. The activity successfully blended cultural heritage with teamwork, providing students with a platform to transform simple earthen pots into vibrant masterpieces. Students brought their own pre-coloured earthen pots and unleashed their imagination using a diverse range of craft supplies.

The competition successfully achieved its goal of promoting experiential learning and cultural connection.

“Every new word is a new step towards becoming a better communicator.” 

The Word Wall Activity was conducted for the students of Class I on 1.10.26.The aim of this activity was to enrich students’ vocabulary and develop their interest in learning new words. 

During the activity, students picked up different  vocabulary words displayed on the table and enthusiastically pasted them on the whiteboard, gradually creating a colourful and meaningful Word Wall. 

The activity provided students with an opportunity to discover, share and learn new words in an interactive manner. 

As a result, students enhanced their vocabulary, improved their word recognition and gained confidence in using new words. 

In a nutshell, the activity made vocabulary learning joyful, engaging and meaningful for the young learners.

“Family is the heart of every home, where love, care and togetherness grow.”

The students of Class II enthusiastically participated in the Family Love Activity held on October 1, 2026. The activity aimed to help students understand the concept of different types of families and appreciate the love, care and support shared among family members. Through this creative hands-on activity, students represented their families using colourful sheets and handmade figures.

The students beautifully showcased two types of families - Nuclear Family and Joint Family. They creatively arranged and labelled the family members on their craft sheets and enthusiastically presented their work to the class.

The Family Love Activity was a wonderful blend of creativity, learning values and self-expression. It left the students with a deeper understanding of the importance of family and cherished memories of creating something special about their loved ones.

Overall, the activity was an enriching and enjoyable learning experience that encouraged students to value their families and celebrate the bond of love and togetherness.

To commemorate the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of the Nation, a special assembly was organised on 1st October 2026 on the theme 'Truth and Non-violence'. The assembly was presented by the students of Classes VIII-B and VIII-C to pay tribute to Gandhiji. It began with a warm welcome, followed by the Thought of the Day. The core principles of Gandhiji's life were then highlighted by the students and a beautiful poem on peace and non-violence was recited.To delve deeper into his ideals, the students presented two short skits based on true incidents from Gandhiji's life - his childhood lesson of truth and the historic Dandi March. The assembly concluded with a powerful message that truth and non-violence are always stronger than hatred and revenge, urging everyone to follow Bapu's ideals in daily life. It was an inspiring and enriching assembly for all. ‎

To pay homage to the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, a Dandi March was organised at VBPS for the students of Pre-School and Pre-Primary. They participated with great enthusiasm and zeal. The little ones also enjoyed a related craft activity and beautifully showcased the values and teachings of Gandhiji, such as truth, peace, cleanliness and non-violence. The activity helped the children understand his ideals in a simple and joyful way. It was a meaningful celebration that inspired our young learners to follow Gandhiji's teachings in their everyday lives.

Vishal Bharti Public School proudly  hosted an insightful Fireside Chat of Mrs Sudha Murty, a  renowned author, philanthropist and former chairperson of the Infosys Foundation with the School Director Mr Shivam Goel on 16th April ‘26.

The session offered a rare opportunity for students to engage with her in an informal yet enriching setting. Through personal anecdotes and thoughtful reflections, she spoke about the value of education, humility and importance of learning new languages, often drawing from her own life experiences. The interactive format encouraged students to ask questions, making the discussion both lively and meaningful.

Vishal Bharti Public School organised an insightful Good   Parenting Workshop for the parents of  Pre School  students on 19th September 2026. This workshop aimed at promoting positive parenting and the holistic well- being of our young learners.The session focused on understanding children's needs, fostering positive communication, developing healthy habits and strengthening the parent-child bond. Parents actively participated and gained valuable insights to create a nurturing and supportive environment for their children.

With an aim to instill a sense of responsibility and independence among young learners, a Life Skills Activity was conducted for the students of Pre School class. The little ones actively participated with great enthusiasm and learned simple yet important daily tasks like buttoning their shirts, folding handkerchiefs etc. The activity also helped them learn to follow instructions ,take responsibility and develop good habits. The activity made learning practical, meaningful and enjoyable for our little ones.

The vibrant spirit of Raksha Bandhan came alive at Vishal Bharti Public School as the young learners from Preschool to Class II celebrated the festival with immense enthusiasm, joy, and cheerful smiles.

The celebration commenced with a graceful and exuberant dance performance by the little ones, filling the atmosphere with festive energy and delight. This was followed by an engaging Rakhi-making activity, where the children enthusiastically designed and embellished beautiful handmade Rakhis using colourful stone stickers and a variety of decorative materials.

The creative activity not only nurtured their imagination and artistic expression but also strengthened their fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, concentration and dexterity. As the children thoughtfully crafted their Rakhis, they also discovered the joy of creating something meaningful with their own hands.

Through this celebration, the young learners imbibed the true essence of Raksha Bandhan—a cherished bond of love, care, protection, affection and togetherness.

With the aim of fostering environmental awareness and practical learning "Grow Your Own Garden" activity  was conducted at VISHAL BHARTI PUBLIC SCHOOL for Pre School students in the school garden. Each child carefully filled a disposable cup with soil and sowed seeds which were then placed in the  school garden for nurturing .Through this engaging hands-on experience, the young learners gained a basic understanding of the plant life cycle and the essential requirements for healthy plant growth such as soil, water and sunlight. The activity provided an enriching opportunity for children to connect with nature while developing a sense of responsibility, patience, and environmental stewardship. It also enhanced their observation, sensory and fine motor skills through meaningful participation in a real-life learning experience.

A 'Just a Minute' , Session on 'Domestic Animals' was organised for our enthusiastic Pre-Primary learners of Vishal Bharti Public School on 18th August , 2026.The little ones spoke confidently about their favourite domestic animals, sharing interesting facts and personal experiences. The session was a delightful blend of learning, self - expression and confidence - building. It gave chance to our little ones to speak up and celebrate the love they share with the furry friends.

The Opposite Word Parade activity was conducted for the students of Class I on 18th August, 2026 with the aim of enhancing their vocabulary, strengthening their understanding of antonyms and building their  confidence in communication through an engaging learning experience. The activity encouraged students to explore the concept of opposite words in a creative and enjoyable manner.

During the parade, students enthusiastically participated by depicting pairs of opposite words using colourful flashcards and expressive actions. They presented words such as tall- short, hot-cold, happy-sad and up-down through gestures, movements and role play. This hands-on activity helped children understand the meaning of opposite words more effectively whileimproving their speaking and presentation skills.

The activity was a wonderful blend of learning and fun. Overall, the Opposite Word Parade successfully encouraged active participation, creativity, teamwork and a deepen understanding of vocabulary among young learners.

"कविता हृदय की वह मधुर अभिव्यक्ति है, जो शब्दों के माध्यम से भावनाओं को जीवंत बना देती है।"

कविता वाचन प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन 17 अगस्त,2026 को कक्षा 1 के विद्यार्थियों हेतु बड़े उत्साह और उमंग के साथ किया गया। इस प्रतियोगिता का मुख्य उद्देश्य बच्चों में हिंदी भाषा के प्रति प्रेम , रुचि वकौशल विकसित करना- जैसे उनके शब्द उच्चारण, स्मरण शक्ति, आत्मविश्वास और अभिव्यक्ति कौशल को बढ़ावा देना था।

विद्यार्थियों ने विभिन्न विषयों जैसे प्रकृति, देशभक्ति, नैतिक मूल्यों और ऋतुओं पर आधारित सुंदर कविताओं का चयन किया। उन्होंने उचित भाव-भंगिमा,सुर - लय - ताल स्पष्ट उच्चारण और आत्मविश्वास के साथ मंच पर वाचन  किया l सभी बच्चों ने उत्साहपूर्वक भाग लिया और अपनी कलात्मक प्रतिभा का प्रदर्शन किया। इस गतिविधि का उद्देश्य बच्चों में समूह के समक्ष वाचन  क्षमता विकसित करना,भावों के उतार-चढ़ाव को मजबूत करना तथा साहित्यिक रुचि को प्रोत्साहित करना था। प्रतियोगिता के माध्यम से विद्यार्थियों की वाचन क्षमता में सुधार आया और उन्होंने भावों के साथ कविता प्रस्तुत करना सीखा। कविता वाचन प्रतियोगिता एक मनोरंजक, ज्ञानवर्धक और प्रेरणादायक गतिविधि रही, जिसने बच्चों के  विकास में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाई।

The students of Pre School and Pre Primary participated in a Tiranga March, proudly carrying the National Flag and spreading the message of unity and love for the nation. The students of classes I and II presented a vibrant dance performance on patriotic songs. The  celebration also included a Tricolour Craft Activity and a Colour Mixing Activity. Through these engaging and hands-on learning children explored the colours of the Indian National Flag and also learned about national symbols. The celebration was a memorable experience that inspired our little learners to imbibe the values of freedom, unity, and patriotism.

Our Class II students participated in a fun and educational role enactment activity on the topic "Houses” on 10th August, 2026. The students dressed up as different types of houses, such as huts, apartments, igloos, tents, and houseboats. They spoke a few sentences about the houses they represented, explaining where they are found and why they are suitable for those places.

The activity helped students learn about different kinds of houses in an enjoyable way. It also enhanced their confidence, speaking skills, creativity and teamwork. The students participated with great enthusiasm, making the activity both informative and memorable. Overall, the role enactment activity was a successful learning experience that made the concept of houses interesting and easy to understand.

"Strong, smart, and safe - my body, my rules!"

To promote personal safety and self-awareness, Vishal Bharti  Public School organised an engaging awareness session, "My Body, My Rules," for the students of Pre-School and Pre-Primary on 7th August ,2026 in school premises .The session was conducted in a warm and child - friendly manner. Through interactive demonstrations and age-appropriate discussions, the teachers sensitively explained the concepts of good touch and bad touch. The young learners were encouraged to recognise safe and unsafe situations, trust their instincts, and confidently seek help from trusted adults whenever needed. The session fostered self-confidence and ended on an empowering note, reinforcing that awareness from an early age is the first step towards safety and dignity.

“Be a water hero, save every drop”

The "Aqua Army" Save Water Rally was organized by the students of Class I on 6th August 2026 to spread awareness about water conservation. Dressed in blue with handmade posters and slogans like "Save Water, Save Life" and "Every Drop Counts," the enthusiastic young students marched through the school campus and nearby areas. They raised slogan chants and interacted with peers, teachers and staff to highlight the importance of turning off taps, fixing leaks and preventing water wastage. The rally aimed to instil responsible water use habits from an early age and encourage the community to value this precious resource. The youngmembers of Aqua Army won everyone’s hearts with their confidence and clear message. The activity successfully created awareness and proved that even small voices can make a big difference in building a better tomorrow.

A morning assembly on the inspiring theme Small Hands, Big Impact was conducted with great zeal and enthusiasm on 4th August, 2026 at Vishal Bharti Public School by the students of Pre-School and Pre-Primary. Sub-junior badminton team of Vishal Bharti Public School participated in the badminton zonal boys tournament held on 27th July 2026 at Bosco Public School, Paschim Vihar and secured IIIrd Position.

Reyansh Bhardwaj, Ronav Bhardwaj, Aarav and Arnav Jha displayed excellent teamwork, determination, and sportsmanship throughout the
tournament. The event provided a valuable learning experience and showcased the true spirit of competition.

Our little VBPians from Pre-School & Pre-Primary had an exciting excursion to Smaash, Dwarka, on 23 rd July , 2026. The day was filled with interactive games, fun team activities, laughter and unforgettable moments that encouraged our young learners to explore, play and bond with one another. Such enriching experiences make learning joyful while nurturing confidence, teamwork and happy memories that last a lifetime.

An Inter-House Podcast Competition was successfully conducted for classes III to V on 22nd July 2026. The event aimed to enhance students’ communication skills, creativity, confidence and teamwork through the engaging medium of podcast.

The event provided an excellent platform for students to improve their public speaking skills while learning about inspiring personalities from different fields.

The competition concluded with the announcement of the winners, wherein Inaaya Chhabra  III D, Aarohi Daga IV B, Vansh Singhal V D and Bhuvika V D of Nehru house were awarded the first position. 

“Hands-on learning makes mathematics meaningful and fun”

A Dice & Cup Sorting Game was conducted for the students of Class I on 20 July 2026.The objective was to make learning fun while developing number recognition, hand-eye coordination and social skills. Two students participated in the activity using paper cups and large colour-coded dice. They took turns rolling the dice and sorting the cups according to the actions with the cups based on the numbers shown under teacher’s guidance. Both students showed great enthusiasm, correctly identified numbers and displayed good turn-taking and sportsmanship. The activity successfully combined play and learning while helping to build confidence, motor skills and peer bonding. It proved to be an effective play-way method for teaching early mathematical  concepts.

“Learning Beyond Books, Growing Beyond Boundaries.” 

Vishal Bharti Public School celebrated Bagless Day on 18th July with great enthusiasm.  Students came without school bags and enjoyed activity-based learning like art, games, music, dance and various group activities. Bagless day played an important role in reducing the burden of heavy school bags and providedstudents a refreshing break from their daily routine. Teachers made learning enjoyable and engaging through interactive activities rather than traditional classroom teaching. The event promoted creativity, practical learning and social interaction,making education meaningful and enjoyable .

“Every bead on the abacus is a step towards mathematical confidence” 

To make the concept of place value engaging and meaningful, the students of Class II participated in an exciting Abacus Artistry activity held on July 10, 2026. Then on children creatively designed their own abacus using a cardboard box, ice cream sticks and colorful beads. The ice cream sticks represented the place value columns while the beads were slid onto the sticks to demonstrate different place values.

As the children moved the beads across the sticks, they explored number formation and developed a clear understanding of how the value of a digit changes according to its position. Children thoroughly enjoyed creating their personalized abacus and confidently used it to represent different numbers, making learning both meaningful and enjoyable.

“Eat healthy, stay happy and let every bite refresh your day!”

The students of Class II enthusiastically celebrated Watermelon Day on July 14, 2026, through the fun-filled activity “Slice of Health and Happiness.” The event aimed to promote healthy eating habits while encouraging creativity, confidence and communication skills.

The celebration began with a special morning assembly. Later, in the classroom, a PowerPoint presentation (PPT) was shown to help students learn about the nutritional benefits of watermelon and the importance of healthy eating.

Adding excitement to the celebration, the students confidently participated in a ramp walk, wearing their beautifully handcrafted watermelon costumes and crowns. Their colourful outfits and cheerful smiles created a vibrant and festive atmosphere. Certificates of Appreciation were awarded to the students with the most creative and attractive watermelon themed attire.

The celebration was a wonderful blend of learning, creativity, confidence and fun, leaving the children with joyful memories and a deeper appreciation for healthy eating.

"Learning becomes  meaningful when children explore, speak and enjoy together.” 

A joyful and delicious “Mango Fiesta” activity was conducted for the students of Class I to celebrate the King of fruits — the  Mango. The  primary objective of the activity was to help children explore a variety of mango-based delicacies while improving their speaking skills, confidence, and creativity. Students enthusiastically participated  by bringing an assortment of treats  such as mango jam, pickle, squash, candy, mango juice and pudding etc.

The classroom was filled with excitement and the refreshing fragrance of mangoes as children proudly showcased  their delectable items. Each student confidently spoke a few lines about the item they had brought, describing  its name , flavour, ingredients and the reasons they enjoyed it. The  activity effectively fostered  communication skills, vocabulary enrichment and stage confidence among the young learners.

Students  thoroughly enjoyed observing and learning about different mango delicacies. The colourful presentation of items made the celebration even more lively and engaging. Overall, the Mango Fiesta proved to be an enjoyable and enriching  learning experience that  beautifully blended taste, creativity  and confidence-building in a memorable way.

A nature based activity was organised on 10th July 2026 at VBPS for the students of Pre-Primary.They ventured out into the school garden, observed different kinds of leaves, collected their favourite ones and happily pasted them in their art files.This engaging learning experience helped our tiny tots in developing observational skills, boosting creativity and developing respect for nature.

A 'Rhyme Presentation' was organised for the students of Pre School, providing them a platform to display their talent and creativity.The tiny-tots recited rhymes with great enthusiasm and clarity.The use of creative props such as masks, flash cards and colourful balloons along with synchronized actions, made the performances lively and engaging.The teacher appreciated the remarkable confidence displayed by children at such a tender age.The presentation transformed learning into a joyful experience.

This year, Father’s Day was celebrated on 21 June, 2026 in different parts of the world. Students of Pre-School and Pre-Primary enthusiastically participated in various activities at home, such as making greeting cards, drawings and handmade gifts to express their love and gratitude towards their fathers. They also spent quality time with their fathers through fun games, storytelling and family activities, making the day joyful and memorable. Parents shared photographs and videos of the celebrations, which reflected the excitement and happiness of the children. The celebration strengthened the bond between children and their fathers and filled every home with love, respect and togetherness.

Diplomacy came to life at Vishal Bharti Public School, Paschim Vihar!*

MUN brought together young diplomats from various institutions and nearly 180 participants for two days of high-energy debate and negotiation across six dynamic committees. From the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) to the United Nations Security Council (UNSC), delegates tackled pressing global issues shaped by today’s geopolitical realities. The conference stood as a powerful display of youth voice, critical thinking and collaboration.

The conference truly came alive with ideas, energy and impact. A huge congratulations to all the participants and winners for their outstanding performances and a special shoutout to Prestige Convent School, Rohini, for clinching the Highest Delegation award — a well-deserved recognition of excellence in diplomacy!

'Doing things makes learning enjoyable.'

A singular - plural activity was conducted for the students of Class I on 6.05.26 to develop a clear understanding of nouns and their forms. The primary  objective of the activity was to help students identify and differentiate singular and plural words through the use of real-life objects. Students actively participated by holding objects in their hands. One student stated the singular form of an object, while another student converted it into its plural form and displayed multiple objects to represent it. This hands-on and collaborative approach made the learning process engaging and interactive.

The activity encouraged students to observe, think and respond confidently. It also provided them with opportunities to practice speaking in front of their peers, thereby enhancing their communication skills. The usage of tangible objects further added in better retention and understanding of the concept.

In a nutshell, the activity was enjoyable, meaningful and  highly effective in promoting active learning.

Montessori Learning Activities are organised from time to time for the students of Pre Primary at Vishal Bharti Public School. These activities enable them to explore Montessori aids like ADL material, puzzles, dummies of fruits and vegetables, spindle box etc. Such hands on learning experiences foster cognitive development, fine motor proficiency and also strengthen their conceptual understanding in a joyful and meaningful way.

A “Place Value House” activity was conducted for the students of Class II to help them understand the concept of place value in a fun and interactive manner. Children created a house comprising three rooms for each depicting the concept of Ones, Tens and Hundreds.

Children wrote number in the room corresponding to its number, which helped them to understand how digits change on the basis of their position. Through this activity, children gained confidence and at the same time it enhanced their understanding of number concepts.

The students of Pre-School had a joyful and enriching experience in the school play area on 12th May, 2026. They spent delightful hours on riders, in the ball pool and exploring the caterpillar tunnel. This activity enabled the students to enhance their gross motor skills and sensory-motor development. It also encouraged teamwork and cooperation. The activity was a perfect blend of fun and learning, leaving our little ones with a big smile.

An interactive grammar activity on ‘This and That’ was conducted  for the students of Class I on 07.05.26 to enhance their understanding of  demonstrative pronouns. The primary objective of the activity was to help students identify, comprehend and differentiate between nearby and distant objects and to use  ‘this’ and ‘that’ appropriately in sentences. 

During the activity, students  actively engaged with various real-life objects such as books, pencils, balls  and  other classroom materials . They confidently applied  ‘this’  for  objects that were nearby and ‘that’ for those that were farther away.

This hands-on approach fostered active participation and transformed  an  abstract grammar concept into a  concrete and relatable learning experience.

The activity not only strengthened their conceptual understanding but also significantly enhanced their confidence during verbal communication.

The week was organised to enable students recognise and appreciate names of different colours through hands-on activities. Each day was dedicated to a special colour and students came dressed in Red, Yellow, Blue and Green outfits to match the theme. They explored the world of colours through the work of art, food, stories and play which helped to develop their observation and creativity. To make learning grammar enjoyable and interactive, the “Flower Power Garden” activity was conducted for Class 2 students. The aim of this activity was to introduce and reinforce the usage of the articles ‘a’ and ‘an’. By integrating art with language learning, students were encouraged to actively participate and express their understanding creatively.

Each student was asked to create two paper flowers - one representing the article ‘a’ and the other representing ‘an’. The flowers were made using coloured papers and each petal of the flowers was used to write words associated with the respective articles.

The hands-on approach helped them grasp the concept more effectively. It also encouraged creativity, participation, and collaborative learning.

To promote sensory development through water play,a pool activity 'Aqua fun'was organised for the students of classes Pre School and Pre Primary.The activity began with a brief warm up session to help the children feel comfortable and confident in water.A child friendly pool setup was arranged with colourful floats,water toys and sprinklers to create an exciting and entertaining atmosphere.The interactive guidance from teachers added to the excitement encouraging even the shyest to participate.The activity not only provided enjoyment but also supported holistic development in a playful and engaging way.

‘Small hands can make a big difference.’ 

An Earth Day Craft activity was organized for the Students of Class I on 22.04.26 to create awareness about the importance of saving our planet. The young learners participated with great enthusiasm and excitement, stepping into the role of tiny ecowarriors.

They coloured beautiful cut-outs of the Earth using bright and lively shades and pasted hand cut-outs  symbolizing their  pledge to protect and care for Mother Nature.

The aim of the activity was to instill environmental awareness amongst students and help them to understand the importance of conserving natural resources and protecting the planet by practicing eco friendly habits like saving water, keeping surroundings clean and planting trees. 

A healthy planet is the foundation of a healthy life.

To mark the occasion of Earth Day, the students of Class II presented a special assembly with great enthusiasm on April 21, 2026. It was followed by a Paper Bag Decoration Competition.

The children highlighted the importance of protecting the blue planet and its environment. A short skit on the significance of Mother Earth was presented along with a song highlighting the need to save our planet. Their performances beautifully reflected a growing sense of responsibility towards their abode.

Following the assembly, the students engaged in a Paper Bag Decoration Competition, aimed at promoting eco-friendly practices. They decorated paper bags with vibrant colours and creative designs, encouraging the use of reusable materials instead of plastic.

The Celebration proved to be both educational and enjoyable. It not only enhanced students’ confidence and creativity but also instilled in them the value of environmental awareness and sustainable living.

It is essential to nurture environmental awareness among young learners and encourage them to take responsibility for protecting our planet.

Vishal Bharti Public School, Paschim Vihar, Delhi, conducted “Paper Bag Making and Decoration” to promote eco-friendly habits and creativity.

As part of the V CARE initiative and Earth Day celebration, ‘A Paper Bag Making’ was organised on April 17, 2026, for students of Classes III to X. The activity aimed to spread awareness about plastic pollution and to encourage the use of eco-friendly alternatives. 

Students enthusiastically decorated paper bags with nature-themed drawings and meaningful slogans like ‘Save Earth’ and ‘Go Green.’ The activity helped them understand the importance of reducing plastic use and adopting sustainable practices.

It enhanced their creativity and instilled a sense of responsibility towards the environment.

‘Sustainability is not a choice, it’s a responsibility.’

To commemorate Earth Day, a vibrant poster-making activity themed ‘Planet Protectors’ was organised on 17.4.26. Our little learners brought planet Earth’s cutouts to life using a variety of tactile techniques, including vibrant cotton, sponge dabbing, and balloon printing.

Beyond the artistic fun, the activity served as an essential introduction to environmental stewardship. Teachers explained the 3Rs - Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle, through stories, helping children understand that even small hands can make big impact in protecting our planet. This joyful activity allowed students to showcase their creativity while blooming into conscious ‘Earth Warriors’ dedicated to a greener future. The day concluded with a proud display of their artwork, leaving everyone spellbound by their innocent yet powerful message of conservation.

Vishal Bharti Public School proudly  hosted an insightful Fireside Chat of Mrs Sudha Murty, a  renowned author, philanthropist and former chairperson of the Infosys Foundation with the School Director Mr Shivam Goel on 16th April '26.

The session offered a rare opportunity for students to engage with her in an informal yet enriching setting. Through personal anecdotes and thoughtful reflections, she spoke about the value of education, humility and importance of learning new languages, often drawing from her own life experiences. The interactive format encouraged students to ask questions, making the discussion both lively and meaningful.

The session concluded on an inspiring note, leaving the audience with valuable life lessons on integrity, simplicity and social responsibility.

‘Mathematics is the language with which God has written the universe.’

A fun-filled Activity ‘Snakes and Ladders’  was organised on 15th April 2026 for the students of Class I  at VBPS . The  children brought their Ludo board games from home that included the Snakes and Ladders layout.

Students sat in small groups and played the game  enthusiastically, taking turns and following the rules carefully. They counted each move, experienced excitement while climbing ladders.

The activity aimed to strengthen number recognition, counting skills, and understanding of forward and backward movement. It  was an enriching experience for the students.

A small sapling today leads to a towering tree tomorrow.

To promote environmental awareness and sustainability, a Sapling Plantation Drive was organized on April 9, 2026, at Vishal Bharti Public School for the students from classes III to V. The students, along with their teachers, planted saplings.

The Principal, Ms. Rachna Jain, applauded the efforts of the young custodians of the Earth and encouraged them to play a constructive role in reversing the damage to the planet.

A child’s first step into the school is a small step for them, but a giant leap towards a brighter future.

The new session started with great joy and excitement at VBPS !  Our tiny tots of PS-2 had a wonderful time on the Welcome Day, April 1st, 2026 .The campus was transformed into a vibrant wonderland with colourful balloons, bouncy, fun, and swings. Our little ones grooved to catchy tunes and made memories with their favourite cartoon buddies. Inside their brightly coloured classrooms, they were transformed into a world of wonder and creativity. Laughter and excitement filled the air – setting the tone for an amazing year ahead!
