To foster the understanding of our young learners about air travel,an activity ‘Kid’s Airport Expo’was organised for the students of Pre-Primary.Children demonstrated various procedures involved in air travelling from check-in to boarding.This engaging activity helped to provide a realistic and engaging experience to the students and develop their confidence and communication skills.

One of the most treasured memories of school life are picnics, educational trips and adventure camps enjoyed with friends. Keeping sync with this, Vishal Bharti Public School organized an exciting excursion to Smaash, Dwarka for the students of Classes III to V on December 4. The students were thrilled to engage in a variety of activities including virtual reality games, bowling, and virtual cricket. Overall, the excursion was a resounding success, providing students with a day of enjoyment and relaxation. 

Trip to Joygaon - Class 2

“Explore beyond the classroom, learn from the world."

In continuation with our endeavour to expose students of Pre School to II to different experiences for their overall development, Vishal Bharti Public School organized an adventure trip to Joygaon, Jhajjar on December 3,2024.

It was a day full of enthralling fun activities .Students were delighted to explore the old rustic life and acquired more information about them. Some of the key attractions for the kids were Burma Bridge, Tyre Maze, Commando Net, Camel Cart , Tractor Ride, Puppet Show, Mirror Maze,7 D Movie Show and many more. All the activities were carried under the expert supervision of trained instructors .

At the end of the day,Joygaon’s in house DJ played peppy numbers and the students danced with full vigour .Students also cherished sumptuous breakfast , lunch and snacks which were served at Joygaon.

The trip offered a perfect blend of adventure and entertainment for a memorable experience! It was a day filled with fun and the students returned with memories to be cherished forever.

To improve letter recognition & knowledge of alphabets among the Pre schoolers , an innovative letter recognition activity –‘English in Action’ was organised for the classes. This engaging exercise was done with the help of placards which in turn proved to be an effective tool for identification and familiarisation of different letters.

Creative Recycling in Action "Recycling things is like magic that turns ordinary things into extraordinary". In an initiative to make or create beautiful craft items from waste material. 'Pencil Stand Making Activity from Waste Material' was organised in class ll on December 2, 2024.This engaging activity aimed to promote the importance of reusing waste materials and fostering environmental awareness among our young learners. Through this hands-on experience, the children learned the value of recycling, the joy of creativity, and the impact of their collective efforts in building a sustainable future.

We, at Vishal Bharti believe that learning should be done in such a way that develops imagination, sparks creativity and let the children think out of the box. Keeping this in mind a ' Clay Modelling Competition ‘was organized on December 2, 2024 for the students of Pre School. The event aimed to nurture creativity, boost imagination, improve eye hand coordination and encourage trial and error learning in our young learners .The students enthusiastically participated in the competition.They squeezed, rolled and blended the clay to form different fruitsThe winners were awarded with certificates.

Discovery Dock- Float and Sink

As per the curriculum of Pre Primary, an activity 'Discovery Dock :-Float and Sink' was organised for Pre Primary classes .It engaged children in experiential learning wherein the children explored nature and collected flowers ,leaves and stones from the school garden.  They dipped these materials in the water and observed their movement in water .This ‘Reggio Emillia ’ approach helped in developing critical thinking and problem solving skills through testing.

Class II- Jungle Safari (Role Enactment)

"The greatness of a nation and its progress can be judged by the way its animals and birds are treated."

To make our children empathetic and compassionate towards animals and enhance their communication skills a ‘Role Play Activity’ was organised in Class II. Children dressed as an animal or a bird of their choice, spoke slogans about protecting the animals/birds by imitating its voice and gait.


Students also shared their ideas about the ways they can take care of animals/birds and not teasing, hurting or killing them. This activity encouraged the value of being kind towards animals/birds.

Children’s Day Celebration - PS and PP

‘Every child is a beautiful sapling and together all children make a beautiful garden.’

Celebrating Children’s Day is a way of celebrating childhood. Children are loved by one and all. They win our hearts with their innocent smiles. November 14, was celebrated as Children’s Day at V.B.P.S to mark the birth anniversary of India’s First Prime Minister, Pandit  Jawaharlal Nehru . 

To create some joyful moments a ‘Puppet Show’ was organized by the teachers of  Pre School and Pre Primary in the school premises spreading the message of love and peace. Our little angels were thrilled with the show . They enjoyed musical chair and balloon race, shared delicious food with each other and tapped their feet on famous dance numbers. In all, our little stalwarts enjoyed each moment of the day and created memories which will be cherished forever.

Class I Poem Recitation Competition - NATURE Report

“A poem is a tiny miracle, wrapped in words.” 

Poem is a beautiful expression of thoughts and emotions, often using vivid imagery and rhythm to convey deep meaning. A poem recitation competition themed ‘Nature’ was organised for the students of Class I, wherein the children participated and recited heartfelt poems using creative props and costumes to represent elements like trees, flowers, rivers, and animals. The event fostered creativity, confidence, and a profound appreciation for nature's beauty amongst the students.

GURUPURAB CELEBRATION-PS-II

Gurupurab -the birthday of Guru Nanak Dev Ji,was celebrated with great devotion and gaiety by the students of Pre School to II on 13.11.24.Our little stalwarts participated in ‘Prabhat Pheri’which created a serene atmosphere in the school premises.The students learned how Guru Nanak’s message of “Seva”(selfless service) and “Naam Japna”(remembering God’s name)can be applied in daily life.

As a part of the celebrations,the school organized a Langar (community kitchen)for the students.The event not only honoured the legacy of Guru Nanak Dev Ji but also instilled the values of love,equality and service in the hearts of everyone present.

In order to enhance the understanding of comparison of numbers 'Lyle Lyle Crocodile Sign Making' activity was conducted in Class I wherein children creatively crafted greater than (>), less than (s) and equal to (=) signs using ice cream sticks, glue, and colourful papers. They compared the numbers using these stick signs and placed them between the numbers.

This engaging activity enhanced motor skills of the students in a fun and interactive way.

“Craft is the art of turning ordinary objects into extraordinary things.”

We at Vishal Bharti believe that learning should be fun- filled and done in a playful manner. Keeping this in mind a joyful and vibrant activity 'Chirpy Pals - The Bird Stick Puppet Activity ' was organised on October 29, 2024 for Pre Schoolers to introduce the letter 'B'. The tiny tots enthusiastically participated in the activity, assembled various parts like feathers, beak and eyes using colourful materials and sticks and created a vibrant bird stick puppet. The young learners associated the shape and sound of letter B and were reinforced with the words like beak,blue and bird .This activity not only developed their fine motor and creative skills but also enhanced their vocabulary. This activity made learning of letter 'B' an exciting and memorable experience for the stalwarts.

‘ Let the Diwali lights guide your path to happiness and success’. 

The festive spirit of the pious festival of Diwali was witnessed at Vishal Bharti Public School as the students of class II staged a special Diwali presentation on October 29,2024 ( Tuesday). Students unveiled the heartwarming Diwali story symbolising the victory of good over evil and hope over despair. The presentation was an amalgamation of a spellbinding skit and vibrant dance performances. To add to the festive spirit, students of class IX also gave a musical presentation which left the audience enthralled. Presence of our esteemed parents not only graced the occasion but also motivated our young performers.The programme concluded with the words of appreciation and Diwali greetings from our honourable HOS, Ms Rachna Jain .

Decorating our homes during festivals is a very important part of Indian tradition. Students of Grade I of Vishal Bharti Public School unfolded their creative abilities by engaging themselves in a Bandhanwar making Activity'. The students were excited to decorate their bandhanwars with various colourful stones, mirrors, artificial flowers etc.

The activity instilled a feeling of accomplishment and pride in students and also enabled them to create a masterpiece.

"Diwali is an occasion to let the light of diyas and candles illuminate not just your home, but your life too."

Diwali is the most awaited and brightest festival of all the festivals of the world. In order to make children understand the cultural importance of ‘Diwali’ an exciting and engaging lantern-making activity was organised for the students of Class II. Students made colourful paper lanterns by folding and cut the paper into lantern shapes and decorated them with ribbons, stickons, mirrors and beads. Students showcased their unique designs. The activity helped the students to explore their artistic talents and creativity.

“As we light diyas, let’s ignite the spark of knowledge and wisdom in young minds” – Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam.

To promote cultural awareness , diversity and inclusivity amongst our tiny tots , Diwali celebration was organized in Pre -School and Pre -Primary classes on 25.10.24. The little ones actively participated in craft activities like Candle decoration and Kandeel making. The students showcased their creativity through unique designs and patterns which  were made with attractive craft material like mirrors, glitters, coloured tape etc .The activity fostered teamwork and developed fine motor skills and enhanced hand – eye coordination.

The classrooms were also transformed into vibrant and festive spaces, reflecting the spirit of the festival of lights. It was a joyful learning experience for the little ones.

Vocabulary Ventures

Vocabulary is the foundation of any language. Expanding vocabulary helps nursery students communicate effectively and express themselves confidently.To promote the usage of good vocabulary , an activity 'Vocabulary Ventures' was organised in Pre Primary classes on 24.10.24.

Children enacted the doing words like pouring,stretching, shaking,drinking etc .This hands on activity promoted a deeper understanding of new words and their usage.

A tour to the Eternal Gandhi Multimedia Museum

On October 19, 2024, an educational trip to the Eternal Gandhi Multimedia Museum for the NIE subscribers of classes III to V was organised. The visit aimed to enhance students' understanding of India's freedom struggle and Gandhian values through interactive exhibits. Students gained historical knowledge and moral insights by exploring Gandhi's life and teachings on peace, truth, and non-violence.

On October 19, 2024, an enriching educational trip to the Eternal Gandhi Multimedia Museum for the NIE subscribers of classes III to V was organised. The trip was designed to provide students with an in-depth understanding of India’s freedom struggle while instilling the timeless values that Mahatma Gandhi stood for, such as non-violence, truth, and simplicity. The museum, with its interactive exhibits and multimedia displays, offered students a captivating way to engage with history.

The visit included a tour of several key sections within the museum, such as the ‘Gandhi in Action’ exhibit, which highlighted Gandhi's peaceful protests and his role in India's independence movement, and ‘The Path of Non-Violence,’ an immersive section that emphasized the importance of truth (Satya) and non-violence (Ahimsa). Students also explored ‘Gandhi’s World’, a multimedia area that showcased key events in Gandhi’s life through photographs, videos, and soundscapes, bringing history to life.

By exploring his life journey, from early struggles in South Africa to his leadership in India's independence movement, students gained a deeper appreciation of how his values remain relevant today. The museum's use of modern technology made the learning experience both engaging and impactful. The educational trip was a meaningful blend of historical knowledge and character-building lessons, making it a memorable experience for all the students.

‘V Care Activity’ Collage Making of Khadi Products

Khadi can unite us, as nothing else can.

Khadi holds a significant role in India's history as it has been associated with the country's struggle for independence and is considered as a symbol of self-reliance and sustainability.

As a part of ‘V Care’initiative, a collage making activity of Khadi Products was conducted for the students of Classes 3 to 5. Children brought pictures of Khadi products & pasted them on A4 size sheets. Through the activity the students learnt about India’s rich heritage and handicrafts.

The activity familiarised children with the diverse array of Khadi products and their multifaceted benefits which also promotes economic growth, environmental sustainability & women's empowerment.

VISHAL BHARTI PUBLIC SCHOOL, PASCHIM VIHAR tried to expand their horizon into the sports arena. We are glad that our students had prepared to participate in the ZONAL SPORTS competition held at various places and have proved as a Never Giving up Team with a fighting spirit ignited within themselves. This attitude has paved way to the beginning of the success story.

Yoga ls Not About Competing With Others But About Surpassing One’s Own Self

The Annual Zonal Yogasan Competition was held between September 17 to September 19, 2024, at Sarvodaya Vidhayala Co-ed School at Paschim Vihar in New Delhi, attracting participants from many  schools and institutions.

Two students of Vishal Bharti Public School made their mark and brought laurels to the school with their exceptional performances. 
Tanuj of Class lX D secured Third Position in Individual Yoga Competition in Under -17 Junior Boys Category while Dev of class X B emerged as  winner of Third Position in Artistic Yoga Competition Under -17 Junior Boys Category.

Both the achievers showcased exceptional talent, dedication and passion for yoga. The Principal Ms. Rachna Jain appreciated the perseverance and dedication of the students and encouraged them to reach the pinnacle in the future contests.

Zonal Qawwali Competition Winning Report

Nightingales of Vishal Bharti Public School added another feather in the cap by winning Second position in Zonal Qawwali competition. The competition took place on August 20,2024 at Little Angels School, Paschim Vihar.It attracted participation from several schools, each of them vying for the coveted title. VBPS  team delivered an outstanding performance that left the audience enthralled. Led by the Music Teacher, Ms Sadhna Sohal , the team's dedication and passion were clearly evident in their performance.

The team demonstrated impeccable synchronization, ensuring that the various vocal parts blended seamlessly to create a captivating melody. The performance was infused with energy and enthusiasm, engaging the audience from the very first note.  The team's traditional Qawwali attire and captivating presentation added an authentic touch to their performance, transporting the audience to the heart of Patriotic Qawwali tradition. Principal, Ms Rachna Jain congratulated and motivated the young Qawwals on their well deserved success.

Rakhi Making Activity

"Raksha Bandhan is not just a string, but a promise of bonding together with love forever."

'Raksha Bandhan' or 'Rakhi' is a special occasion to celebrate the sacred bond between a brother and a sister. It is one of the deepest and noblest of all human emotions. To commemorate this festival, a Rakhi Making Activity was organized for the students of classes 3 to 5. Students made beautiful Rakhis using different articles like silken thread, ribbon, etc. Their handmade rakhis were quite fascinating . The children thoroughly enjoyed the informative and engaging activity .The event aimed to acquaint students with the cultural significance of Raksha Bandhan along with providing them a platform to showcase their creativity.

The spirit of India forever reigns”

To educate and inspire our tiny tots with the lives and contributions of freedom fighters, a 'Role Enactment Competition' was organised in Pre-Primary classes on 14.08.2024.

Children dressed as freedom fighters like Mahatma Gandhi, Rani Lakshmibai, Jawahar Lal Nehru etc. showcased the courage, sacrifice and love of the freedom fighters for their country.

The students of Preschool and Pre-primary also prepared stick puppets with the help of teachers as a takeaway token on the occasion of Independence Day. This activity not only imparted valuable knowledge about Independence Day but also helped in instilling a sense of pride among the young VBPians.

Indepence Day celebrations

The Independence Day celebration at Vishal Bharti Public School was a resounding success, reflecting the vibrant spirit of patriotism and unity.

The event commenced with the flag hoisting ceremony where  Chairman Shri Sunil Goel ji,Mrs Shobha Goel ji, Mr Shivam, Manager Mrs Charvi Goel along with Principal Mrs Rachana Jain  unfurled the national flag amidst loud cheers and children actively participated in the singing of the National Anthem, reflecting a deep sense of national pride.

It was followed by the rendition of a patriotic song Mera Desh Badal Raha hai, by the school choir resonating with the theme of freedom and national pride.

Vbpians also presented a dance drama titled Rising Stars highlighting the achievements of the country and the milestones achieved in the preceding decades.

The celebration was transcended to another dimension by the speech of Mr Shivam Goel, honourable member of the managing committee,in which he  expressed his gratitude to all the teachers and students for making the auspicious occasion a memorable one.

The main objective of such programmes is to inspire our children to learn and understand the true meaning of freedom.

Movie Time PS-2

Popcorns crackle, snacks abound
Movie magic all around.'


As is the case with fables and children’s stories, children’s movies are an excellent tool for educating the little ones.  To cherish the special experience and to help foster social interaction and to create memories with our young VBPians a 'Movie Time' was organized on August 8, 2024 for the students of classes Pre School- II. The students were shown the movie 'Appu' at Cinepolis .

The students were duly escorted by the teachers. They enjoyed the spectacular movie on how a determined young elephant Appu  braved all odds, crossed the ocean, penetrated a deadly forest, and discovered his true powers to rescue his father from the clutches of notorious poachers  thereby giving them a significant learning experience. Popcorns ,burgers and juices were also served to the students.The little ones were filled with enthusiasm, curiosity and excitement. They clapped and cheered!

Overall it was a delightful day that combined fun with significant educational values for the students.

Class 1 Monsoon Mania

In Class 1 "Monsoon Mania" activity, students enthusiastically spoke a few lines describing the monsoon season with proper pauses, pronunciation and gestures. The young learners enthralled everyone with their articulation and memory skills. The activity also provided a splendid opportunity for them to gain confidence.

Save the tigers, save our national animal!'

The world celebrates Global Tiger Day on July 29th to  show collective support for the magnificent yet endangered big cat.

On the occasion of Global Tiger Day, the students of Class II participated in  the Tiger Pencil Stand Making Activity . They prepared a pencil stand using coloured sheets, Fevicol, sketch pens. Later they were also sensitized towards the grave issue of tiger conservation and made aware of the habitat and different features of our national animal through a power point presentation.

Displaying the power of her will, Annanya Singhal of Class II participated in International Olympiad of English 2023 and won laurels for VBPS by acclaiming the 1st position in the State and 4 th Olympiad Rank by obtaining 100/100 marks. For her excellent performance in the Olympiad, she has been awarded a Gold Medal along with a Certificate of Excellence and a Gift certificate. The HOS, Mrs. Rachna Jain honoured  the academic achievers of  Junior School for their hard work, dedication,  
and excellence during the session 2023-24.
 
This gesture not only  created a feeling of pride amongst young scholars but also inspired them to work harder and strive for excellence.

Class 1 Action words

In Class 1 action words activity was organised, where students participated in pairs, fostering collaboration. One child announced an action word while the other child performed the corresponding action. This interactive exercise encouraged physical movement, making learning enjoyable and memorable. Students enthusiastically demonstrated actions such as 'sing', 'kick', and 'write', enhancing their understanding of verbs in a fun and dynamic way.

Middle Level, Inter House Compitition – Doodle 4 Pi

“Doodling serves as a means of keeping the hand or fingers limber so that they are always ready for serious work.” — Charles E. Burchfield

Doodles are simple drawings that can have concrete representational meaning. Keeping this in mind , an interhouse activity- ‘Doodle 4 Pi ‘ was conducted at Vishal Bharti Public School on 23rd July 2024. In this activity students of classes VI to VIII showcased their creativity by making beautiful posters on ‘Doodle for Pi’,which is one of the mathematical constant.

The young learners displayed their artistic skills with immense zeal and enthusiasm while adhering to the mathematical concepts .All the students
thoroughly enjoyed this activity.

Traffic lights are so important because these light allow the traffic to move in the correct direction. They help people to stay safe on the roads. Keeping this objective in mind ,' Traffic light Demonstration ' was conducted in VBPS for classes Pre School and Pre Primary . This activity acquaint the children with the rules of crossing the road, traffic signals, speed limits and safety measures etc. Our young learner enjoyed rhymes also with their teachers.

Abacus Craft Activity - Class II

An engaging and educational activity titled 'Abacus Craft Activity' was conducted for the students of Class II on July 10, 2024. The Abacus activity involved the usage of three colourful cups and sticks to represent numbers with beads. Each cup represented a different place value (ones, tens, hundreds). This hands-on activity helped in better understanding of the concept of Place Value. The children were highly engaged and showed enthusiasm in sorting and counting beads. The activity helped in enhancing their number aptitude, concentration, self- confidence and logical understanding.

Table Mat Making Activity

Good table manners are more than just rules; they reflect Courtesy, Respect and Social Skills. 

Table manners teach children how to behave at a table and how to look presentable while eating. To familarize the students about the importance of table manners and the significance of using table mats, a Table Mat Making activity was conducted in Pre School and Pre Primary classes.

The students were provided with A-3 size sheets and different decorative material to make their one of a kind table mat.
The activity helped the young learners showcase their creativity.

Oral Hygiene Demonstration

“Don't rush when you brush.”

Maintaining oral hygiene is very important. A demonstration was given to students of Pre School and Pre Primary.  The children learnt the importance of keeping their teeth clean and healthy. The demonstration included interactive activities and hands on practice too.  This activity helped them to learn about the basics of oral hygiene like brushing teeth twice a day, rinsing mouth after meal, and eating healthy food that helps to maintain good oral hygiene.

International Picnic Day

International Picnic Day is celebrated on 18th June every year. This is a day to enjoy nature with your near and dear ones. Students of Class 1 shared their delightful experience of outing with their parents during the summer holidays.

They described their picnic adventure, favourite food, games, and the beautiful places they visited. This allowed the students to share joyful moments they spent with their family members. Hearing about each other's adventures helped students feel connected and inspired, even while on a break.

World Bicycle Day

Regular physical activities such as walking, cycling and dancing have significant health benefits. Keeping this in mind, ‘World Bicycle Day’ was celebrated for the tiny-tots of Pre-Primary. Pictures of children riding their bicycle through the lanes of their neighbourhood during the holidays were shared by their parents.

Story Telling (Puppet Show)

Puppet shows have been recognised as a valuable tool for engaging young children in storytelling as it provides a visually stimulating experience that captures children’s attention.


To enrich the learning experiences, a puppet show was organised for the students of Pre-School. The show not only explained the story of  ‘The very hungry Caterpillar’ in an effective manner but also encouraged the tiny tots to invent their own stories and scenarios.

To strengthen the concept of ‘Expanded Form’ an activity ‘I am Expanding’ was taken up by students of class II. They depicted a three-digit number using the units of Hundreds, Tens and Ones on an A4 sheet. This activity helped them in reinforcing the concept of numbers and expanded form.

Paper Bag Making ( Earth Day)

Eco friendly Paper Bag Making Craft Activity was organized for the students of Class II with an objective to sensitize them towards the need of eco-friendly material like paper, jute, cloth etc in our lives.

They were also made to learn about the disadvantages of environmentally harmful material  like plastic, nylon etc. Students embellished plain paper bags with colourful cutouts of mother earth, flowers, leaves and also added meaningful slogans.

Father's Day Celebration

Father's Day is a special occasion dedicated to honouring and celebrating the role played by fathers in our lives. Students of Class II expressed their appreciation and gratitude for their fathers by preparing an attractive card and writing a special message to express their fondness for them. 

It provided an exciting and educational way to celebrate the special bond shared between children and their super heroes.

Mint Smash - Lemonade Making

To beat the heat, a refreshing Mint Smash - Lemonade Making Activity was organized for the students of Classes I and II. It was pure fun for the students to prepare lemonade independently. The main objective behind this refreshing activity was to make the students aware about the importance of  drinking lemonade in summers.

They enjoyed preparing the hydrating drink and had a great day.

Fancy Dress Competition

A Fancy Dress Competition was organised for the students of Classes I and II on April 29,2024 with an objective to blend fun with learning and provide them a platform to enhance their oratory skills.

As per the theme ' Means Of transport and communication' , children dressed up as T. V, rocket, cellphone, newspaper etc. and delivered their dialogues with great confidence and elan. The activity proved to be a fantastic learning experience for the young learners.
