Fri, 20th Oct 2023 – Role Enactment and Ramp Walk


Festivals are a way to celebrate our glorious heritage, culture and tradition. Keeping the festive spirit alive and to enhance it among our tiny tots of Pre School and Pre Primary ‘ Role Enactment Competition’ was conducted in the school premises on 20th Oct’23. Our young Vbpians showcased the eminence of a few characters from the great epic Ramayana like Lord Rama , Sita , Hanuman, Laxman and Ravana. Students wore colourful costumes and gracefully walked on the ramp with full confidence and panache .Children through facial expression, body language and gestures brought these characters to life. This activity helped the children to know more about the characters scripted in the Ramayana . Children were adjudged on the basis of content, costume, dialogue, confidence, gait and props that they used.

On the same day Pre Primary students made Ravana Mask in the class. Our young artists were overwhelmed with their own creativity after they finished making their handmade Ravana Face Mask.Principal Ma’am applauded the efforts of the participants

Wed, 26th Jul 2023 – INTER HOUSE KHO-KHO MATCH Junior Level ( VI-VIII )


“Sports play a major role in shaping the personality of a child. At Vishal Bharti Public School constant efforts are made to develop the personality of our children by nurturing every aspect of their personality. An’’Inter House Kho-Kho competition’’ was organized on 26 July 2023 for the students of classes VI-VIII wherein 12 student of every house represented their House. Student of all four Houses (Gandhi, Tagore,Bose & Nehru) played a fair game with true spirit.

In the final round Gandhi House grabbed the first position ,Nehru House stood second and Bose House secured the third place.The Principal of the school Mrs. Rachna Jain congratulated the winners and blessed them. Students displayed Spectacular performances in all the matches .It was a fun –filled learning experience for them.

Wed, 12th Jul 2023 – INTER HOUSE CHESS COMPETITION Junior Level (VI-VIII)



“Chess is a game which helps in the development of the brain & enhances critical thinking.

Keeping this in mind an Inter-House chess Competition was organisedat Vishal Bharti Public School on 12 july 2023.four teams participated representing each house of the school participated in it with great enthusiasm and showed their focus, ablity to strategize foresightedness through their moves. The confidence and focus was palpable.

In the Jr. Category VI-VIII Boys Rhythm of VIII-C (Nehru house) bagged the first place followed byMahir ofVIII-A (Bose house)& Vansh of VIII-C (Tagore house ) on the second & third position respectively.

In the JR.category VI-VIII Girls emerged victorious Jigya of VII-C (Bose house bagged first position)followed by Garima of VIII-C (Tagore house) & Ravneet of VI-C (Gandhi House) on second & third place respectively .The Principal of the school Mrs. Rachna Jain congratulated the winners and wished them great future ahead in sports.

Wed, 26th Apr 2023 – Advertisement on Eco-Friendly Products



Advertisements are commercials that are designed to get the attention of the consumers. The purpose behind them is to motivate the consumers. It requires a lot of creativity and some quirk. Ads comprise both humour and conceptual presentation.

VBPians exhibited their innate talent and creativity through the Inter House Advertisement Competition on the theme on eco friendly products , held for Grades VI-VIII on April 26, 2023.

6 participants from each House participated enthusiastically and left the audience laughing in the aisles
Each group created an advertisement on the theme of Ecofriendly products. The competition was bi-lingual. The performance was judged on the basis of content, team work, presentation and overall performance. Each team presented its ad with gusto.

The advertisements presented by the students delivered strong commercial and social messages. The participants left no stone unturned to advertise their products in the most innovative manner. The competition provided an opportunity to the Children to showcase their talent.

Wed, 19th Apr 2023 – INTER HOUSE SKIT COMPETITION -LIFE WITHOUT TREES


Vishal Bharti Public School organised an Inter House Skit Competition on the topic 'Life Without Trees ' in the school premises on 19th April 2023 wherein students used their imagination, creativity and different props to present their skit in an innovative manner. All the students enthusiastically participated in the competition as they got an opportunity to showcase their talent in dramatization, linguistic skills, and innovation to create. The Principal of the school, Ms. Rachna Jain appreciated the efforts put in by all the participants and applauded their creativity, presentation, fluency, and confidence.

Tue, 27th Sep 2022 – INTER HOUSE COMPETITION TOPIC- GLASS BOTTLE PAINTING



"Creativity is intelligence having fun"

Painting glass bottles is a fun and creative way to recycle bottles while making your home beautiful at the same time.Keeping this in view, an interhouse “Glass Bottle Painting” activity was organised at Vishal Bharti Public School on 27th September ,2022 for the students of class VIII.In this activity students made beautiful designs on glass bottles using clay and threads and then painted them using acrylic colours.The young learners displayed their artistic skills with immense zeal and enthusiasm.

Thu, 18th Aug 2022 – MIND WARS QUIZ CONTEST



“Learning gives creativity, creativity leads to thinking, thinking provides knowledge and knowledge makes us great.”

Mind Wars Quiz Contest, the brainchild of Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd., was conducted at Vishal Bharti Public School on August 18, 2022 . It is India's largest knowledge platform for students which enhances knowledge across GK, Current Affairs and Curriculum. 180 students from classes VI-X participated in the Preliminary Round out of which 12 top scorers competed for the Stage Round comprising six teams of two students each. Questions to test general knowledge about India and its current affairs were asked from the students.

Their performance was viewed by the students of class VI. It was a tough competition but in the end the most exciting and thrilling battle was won by Shreyam Kaushik (X-D) and Tanishka Yadav (X-C) who bagged the first position. The second position was bagged by Daksh Gupta (X-D) and Yatin Dixit (IX-C) whereas the third position by Yash Bansal (X-D) and Vansh Shokeen (X-D). It was a very informative and knowledge enriching competition for the participants as well as the viewers. Winners were awarded with gift vouchers along with certificates of appreciation.

The School Principal, Mrs. Rachna Jain congratulated the winning teams and encouraged the students to stay updated by reading the newspapers and by watching news.

Thu, 28th Jul 2022 – Middle Level (VI-VIII) MIND FIRE



“Knowledge becomes power only when we put it into use.” Keeping this thought in mind ‘Mind Fire', an Inter-House Quiz Competition was held on July 28th, 2022 for Classes VI- VIII.

The quiz was conducted to assess the knowledge and general awareness of the students. The Quiz also enabled them to gain  confidence and communicative abilities in competitive settings. The quiz began with the introduction of the participants as well as with the explanation of the rules of the quiz.

The quiz consisted of four interesting rounds viz. Geographical facts, Indian Politics, Visuals and Rapid Fire. The students of all the four houses showcased their brilliance by rapidly answering the questions and gave a tough battle to each other. The NEHRU HOUSE emerged out as the winner of this keenly contested event.

It was a very informative and knowledge enriching competition for the students.

Fri, 02nd Nov 2018 – Banner Making Competition (Senior Level IX-XI)

Cracker Free Diwali

An inter house banner making competition was held for the students of classes IX to XI on October 11, 2017as part of the anti – cracker drive which has been an annual feature of VBPS since nearly a decade. The event witnessed spirited participation by the students. The theme for the event was – ‘Cracker free Diwali’

The competition provided an exciting opportunity for students to bring forth the artist in them.
Three students from each house (per class) participated in the competition. Colorful and vivid banners with anti fire cracker messages splashed over them were made by the students. The venue for the competition was the dance room and 0, 1, 2 periods were utilized for it.

Ms. Lucy Jad was the organizer of the event and the creatively made banners’ will used for the anti cracker rally on 2nd November.

Wed, 03rd Oct 2018 – Khadi Costume Designing (Middle Level VI-VIII)

Khadi is a fabric that embodies a world view of the past as well as of the future, Khadi is a symbol of Indian Textile heritage.

With the aim of promoting Khadi amongst youth, an inter house Khadi Costume Designing Competition was organized on October3, 2018 for the middle level students.

The students designed traditional as well as modern costumes using A-3  sheets , the stylish costumes catered to the taste of urban  India. The judges of the event Ms Madhu, Ms Anupam, Ms Sadhna were impressed to see the creativity and spirit of young minds.The  costumes were judged on the basis of creativity,theme, neatness/ presentation and overall design and Gandhi House bagged the First Prize.  The winners were awarded with  appreciation  certificates.

An Inter-House Ad Mad Competition was organized on 15.11.2017 for classes III-V in the school premises. Each team of houses created innovative advertisement using great ideas & catchy punch lines on the topics -Khadi products, Nutritional drink, Smartphone. The competition provided students a platform to demonstrate their understanding of the world of advertisement and acquainted the students about promotional strategies in marketing.Participants were judged on the basis of Content,Software Knowledge, Presentation.All the teams participated with great enthusiasm and zeal. Judges praised the efforts of students for creating advertisement with great ideas & punch line in software Ms Word.

Vishal Bharti Public School has organized various activities to celebrate IT for the month of November’ 2017. A Poster Making Competition was organized for Classes-VI-VIII to explore and encourage creativity in children and offer them a platform to showcase their skills.The children expressed their views and thoughts about “Come-on India lets join Swachh Bharat Mission” by including slogans and quotes in their posters. One could see and feel the enthusiasm that the children had in their presentation. It inspired them to think and work creatively in order to promote artistic and technical excellence. They came up with amazing creativity. Their efforts and initiative was appreciated by one and all. The rubrics for judgment were: Content, Adherence to the topic, Aesthetics and presentation. Each of the posters prepared by the children was a treat to the eyes which also made the selection process extremely difficult for the judges.

To celebrate the beauty of art in every part of our life an Inter House event “Creating a Photo Collage” was organized on 15th November 2017. Students worked in groups of 3 to integrate the beauty of art with technology. They surveyed the school and took pictures of various sites that depicted art. They further recreated these as a photo collage in Photoshop. They were judged on the basis of Content , Adherence to the topic, Aesthtics and presentation.

An Inter-House Rangoli Designing Competition was organized on 23rd November 2016 at Vishal Bharti Public School. The hidden talents of students were reflected in their rangoli. All students eagerly participated in the competition. Students proved that they not only excel in academics, but also shine in exhibiting their skills by their creative presenations. Students from classes III, IV and V participated in this competition. They exhibited their talent by combining shapes, colours and brushes in MS-Paint. Children came up with amazing artwork in the designs of rangoli.

The final judgment was made by the judges : Ms.Neeru Kapoor, Ms. Kamna, Ms. Kirti and Ms. Sarita . The criteria for judgment were: Shapes used Colour Scheme and Aesthetic appeal.

Middle Level- IT Quiz(Classes VI-VIII)

An Inter-House IT Quiz Competition was organized on 23.11.2016 for classes VI-VIII in the school premises. Ms Kamna Sanghi was the organizer & Ms Nikita Bhardwaj was the scorer. There were four teams representing the four houses, each team comprised of 3 students from classes VI-VIII. The teams were questioned on Basic IT knowledge, IT company founders, logos and IT personality. The participants had to go through four different rounds in the quiz: Round I-‘Preliminary Round’, Round II-’Rapid Fire Round’, Round III-‘Buzzer Round’ and Round IV- ‘Visual Round’. All the teams participated with great enthusiasm and zeal. It was a Brain Storming session for not only the participants but for the audience. It provided a platform for the students to show their expertise in the fields of computers and enrich their knowledge.

Movie making on the topic "Cleaniness in Vishal Bharti"(Class IX- X)

"Cleanliness is very important. If we let kids make a total mess and then leave, we are not really teaching them anything".

To instill the values of cleanliness in our students an Inter House Competition was held on the topic “Cleanliness in Vishal Bharti". Students of classes IX and X presented their views with the help of a movie on 23rd November 2016. Students participated in this activity with great zeal and enthusiasm and took shots of different areas of the school and also spread the information on the importance of maintaining cleanliness in our school.

Students worked in groups of three for this activity and completed the activity in two phases. In the first phase shots were taken in different areas of the school in which they presented their views on cleanliness around us and why is it important and after that a movie was made by the children using Movie Maker. The enthusiasm of students made the event a roaring success and efforts of students were applauded by everyone.

The judgment was done on the basis of Idea Presented, Technical feature and Movie Appeal

Designing your own App(Class XI)

Mobile Apps are internet applications designed to run on smart phones and other mobile devices. The ever increasing number of mobile devices provides an excellent opportunity to the business to stay connected with its customers. Although the app revolution only started a few years ago, this form of marketing is growing fast with no signs of slowing down.

Vishal Bharti School organized an Inter-house PowerPoint presentation competition on 'Designing your own App' for students of class XI on 23rd November 2016. The aim was for students to identify viable ideas that could be converted into apps to earn money or spread awareness about a cause.

All the participants presented unique ideas like the Child Security App, the e-voting app, The vault for connecting and sharing with NGO’s and an app to monitor various social media sites simultaneously. The students presented their ideas through beautifully designed presentations which kept the audience absorbed throughout the event.

The judgment was done on the basis of Originality/idea of the app, presentation skills and quality of the presentation. The result of the activity is as follows:

Diwali signifies the victory of light over darkness, good over evil, knowledge over ignorance and hope over despair .To make this festival special, Vishal Bharti Public School organized "RANGOTSAV" in the month of October 2016.

The following activities were organized at various levels:

Primary Level- Diya Decoration (III-IV) and Folk Dance Competition (V)

Diya Decoration (III-IV):

At Primary Level, Inter House Diya Decoration competition was conducted for classes III and IV on 26th October 16 in the school premises. Students participated in this activity with great zeal and enthusiasm and decorated Diyas by dint of their creativity. The bright splash of colors on diyas symbolized the spirit of festivity and excitement round the corner. The message was loud and clear, "Let's minimize the poisonous effect of crackers and maximize the happiness with earthen Lamps". The enthusiasm of students made the event successful and effort of the students was highly appreciated by everyone.

Folk Dance Competition (V ):

"Dance is the hidden language of soul"

Keeping the above quote in mind, an Inter House Folk Dance Competition was organized on 26th October 2016 in the school premises wherein students of class V showcased excellent performances through their sincere efforts. Dressed in colourful attires, the students depicted folk dances from different states. The competition started with Gandhi house giving a mesmerizing performance highlighting the true colours through a foot tapping performance on a folk song of Haryana. This was followed by Nehru, Tagore and Bose houses depicting folk dances of Rajasthan, Maharashtra and Gujarat respectively. Madam Principal applauded and appreciated the participants for their hard work and zeal Bose house stole the show with their powerful Gujarati folk dance performance and won the competition.

"This Diwali, Only Diyas, No fireworks" were the slogans that appeared on banners, placards, posters etc. made by VBPS students.

Vishal Bharti School organised an Inter-house Slogan writing competition on Save Environment Anti-Cracker for the students of class IX and X on 26th October 2016.The aim was to spread the message on consciousness about harmful effects of crackers during Diwali celebrations and bring out their creative minds in the form of slogans.

All the participants did the beautiful craft work. The judgement was done on the basis of Originality/material used, Creativity and Neatness/Presentation.

Border Designing (XI):

Inter House activity "Border designing for Bulletin Board" was conducted in Vishal Bharti Public School for class XI students on 26th October 2016 in the classes. Students participated in this activity with great zeal and enthusiasm and made unusual and incredibly fabulous bulletin board borders.

Students worked in groups using acrylic colours, markers, oil pastels to make borders attractive. On the basis of originality, creativity and presentation the borders made by the four Houses were adjudged.

The enthusiasm of students made the event successful and efforts of students were appreciated by everyone.
