Excursions and picnics are vital part of students’ life as they give a welcome break to children by breaking the monotony of their hectic schedule and provide relief from stress. The outings are a learning experience for students and have an everlasting impact on them.
Regular trips to various outstation destinations and local picnic spots are organized for the students. Educational visits to Museums, Art Galleries, Exhibitions, places of Historical, Cultural, Scientific and Economic interest are also planned.
29th Oct 2023 – EXCURSION to Smaaash
“Every picnic is a new adventure waiting to happen.”
On a bright sunny day, students of Vishal Bharti School, Paschim Vihar from Classes V to VII embarked on an exciting and memorable picnic to Smaaash, located at Radisson Blu in Sector 13, Dwarka, New Delhi.
Smaaash is a perfect destination for young adventurers. The students of the school had the opportunity to enjoy various virtual reality games, arcade games, rides etc.
The highlight of the day was the bowling alley, where strikes and spares were celebrated with cheers and high-fives. Students also savoured delicious lunch and refreshments served there along with fun-filled activities.
The excursion not only provided students with a break from their academic routine but also fostered a sense of camaraderie and teamwork among them.
Such outings are essential for holistic development and bonding among children.
13th Oct 2023 – EXCURSION to Kidzenia
“Field trips provide authentic, hands- on learning opportunities where students can connect with the learning in classrooms.”
Vishal Bharti Public School organised an educational -cum- fun trip to Kidzania, a theme park in Delhi- NCR for Classes I and II on October 13,2023.
Kidzania is a place where reality blends with entertainment.It provides a platform to children to discover, explore and learn about the real world . Students enthusiastically engaged themselves in fun filled activities that presented a picture of real life jobs . It also gave them an opportunity to develop key skills like psychomotor, cognitive, emotional, social and language.
Kidzania has mini setups of Dominos, Nutella, Petrol Pump, Airlines, Bank, etc. The children stepped into the role of firefighters, police officers, dentists, delivery personnel etc. and enjoyed enacting them.
The lip smacking breakfast and lunch served to students was icing on the cake. Thus the trip to Kidzania proved to be an enriching experience and a treasured memory for students.
1st Dec 2022 – EXCURSION to Deva Farms
“We must take adventures in order to know where we truly belong.”
With an objective to provide a safe and meaningful adventurous experience that balances challenging adventure and exploration with fun, Vishal Bharti Public School in collaboration with Camp Deva organised an Adventure Camp for the students of PS to II on 1.12.2022.
On arrival, students were served with sumptuous breakfast, and thereafter they were divided into groups. They participated in action-packed activities like Rock Climbing, Zorbing, Zip lining, Burma Bridge, Commando net, Commando Crawl, Trampoline,and many more.
Camel cart ride, tractor ride and dancing to DJ added charm to the rich experience.
The amount of energy and enthusiasm exhibited by our tiny tots was enthralling. The camp not only provided a joyful experience but also aided in creating memories to be cherished forever.
15th Nov 2022 – EXCURSION TO SHIMLA
“The Best Education for Kids is Travelling and Exploring. Nothing teaches them more than Accumulating Experiences”
Vishal Bharti Public School brings opportunities for experiential learning and hands on experiences through its educational trips. An excursion to Shimla was organized for the students of Class V to Xll from 11th November to 15th November, 2022.
The bus journey which initiated at 9:30 pm from school gave an opportunity for bonding with the group. The comfortable and safe ride culminated in the morning at 10am in Kufri. The early morning rays woke everyone up to the picturesque views of green pastures, mountains and valleys. The weather welcomed the group with a soft breeze and drizzle which added to the pleasure. The power packed adventures like horse riding and hiking enthralled all. The evening bonfire was an icing on the cake. The second day was spent on the famous Mall Road of Shimla, Scandal Point and Lakkad Bazaar. The evening was enjoyed with a sumptuous dinner followed by a DJ party.
Next morning, the group departed for Chail where they had a flavour of adventure while trekking the mountains. The wonderful excursion terminated on14th November. The group cherished the beauty of pine, deodar, oak forests and swaying fields during the travel.
The buses reached Delhi by evening. Lunch was enjoyed enroute. Moments that were clicked, memories which were packed and happiness that was recorded will remain indelible.
The trip was gratifying as it groomed the leadership skills of our students and taught them to be more resilient and tolerant of others.
20th Aug 2022 – EXCURSION Preschool and Preprimary classes – SAI BABA TEMPLE
“You are never lost when you see the Temple”
To sensitise our little ones towards spiritual values, an excursion to Sai Baba Temple, Rohini was planned for Preschool and Preprimary classes on 20.8.22.The students devotedly participated in the kirtan there and learnt about the important teachings of Sai Baba.
It gave them a whole new perspective of the practices of Hinduism and provided them the chance to see a visual representation of Sai Baba.
