An array of teaching strategies is used as per the requirement of the subjects and students. Enquiry and problem-solving approach, demonstrative, ‘learning by doing’ and collaborative learning techniques are used by teachers effectively and extensively. Use of active boards and teaching aids for explaining the concepts, activity, project-based learning are some of the methodologies adopted. At VBPS, a blend of traditional and contemporary education helps in raising lifelong learners.
Though teachers have a major role of being facilitators for students, we involve all stakeholders in the education process. Students are encouraged to be responsible about their conduct and habits and parents are involved in decision making about their children. A healthy child-parent-teacher triangular relationship promotes all round development of the children.
