A person's great power lies in how he views himself

A person’s great power lies in how he views himself because as said in the bible As a man thinketh in his heart so he is.

Our own personal perception is what makes us go from poor to power. Eagles are supposedly the greatest animals in the world as we could learn quite a lot from them and apply all those principles that they have, in our lives.

They have 7 basic principles that we could apply in our lives and businesses.

Principle 1

Eagles fly alone at high altitudes and not with sparrows or other small birds. No other bird can get to the height of the eagle. Stay away from sparrows and ravens, eagles fly with eagles. Spend time with like minded people and if you don’t have them rather spend time alone than people who are going to bring you down.

Principle 2

Eagles have a very strong vision. They have the ability to focus on something up to five kilometres away. When an Eagle sites his prey he narrows it. No matter the obstacle, the eagle will not move his focus from the prey until he grabs it.
Have a vision and remain focused no matter what the obstacle and you’ll succeed.

Principle 3

Eagles do not eat dead things. They feed only on fresh prey. Vultures eat dead animals, but eagles will not.
Be careful with what you feed your mind with, especially in movies, music and TV. Steer clear of outdated and old information. Feed your mind with things that will help you grow rather than make you stagnant.

Principle 4

Eagles love the storm. When clouds gather, eagles get excited. The eagle uses the storm’s wind to lift it higher.
We can use the storms of life to rise to greater heights. Achievers relish challenges and use them profitably.

Principle 5

The Eagle tests before it trusts.
Whether in private life or business, one should test the commitment of people who intend to be partners.

Principle 6

Both male and female eagles participate in raising the eagle family.
The preparation for family teaches us that active participation of both partners leads to success.

Principle 7

When an eagle grows old, his feathers become weak and cannot take him as far as he should go. When he feels weak and about to die, he retires to a place far away in the rocks. While there, he plucks out every feather on his body until he is completely bare. He stays in this hiding place until he has grown new feathers, then he can come out.
We occasionally need to shed off old habits and items that burden us without adding value to our lives.
With all these principles, we must understand that it’s not all easy being an eagle but it’s definitely worth it, from birth it faces challenges that help it grow and helps it become the strong bird that it is, so let’s also embrace the challenges coming our way and grow from them. Let’s become eagles.

Education is not preparation for life; education is life itself.
